Warranty Cover
Every device sold by Unlocked By Outflex carries the manufacturer's international warranty. Here's exactly what that means, what's covered, and how to claim if you ever need to.
1. Standard cover
- 12 months manufacturer's warranty from the date of dispatch on every smartphone.
- 6 months standard cover on accessories (the X3 Watch, Earth Explorer Kit, etc.).
- Cover is provided by the device manufacturer (Honor, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei) under their international warranty programme, and supplemented by us where the manufacturer's local service centre is unavailable to you.
2. What's covered
- Manufacturing defects identified during normal use.
- Hardware failures not caused by accidental damage, water exposure, or unauthorised modification.
- Battery performance falling below the manufacturer's threshold within the warranty period (typically 80% original capacity).
- Display anomalies, charging port failures, speaker/microphone issues attributable to the device, not user damage.
3. What's not covered
- Physical damage (cracked screens, dented frames, drop damage).
- Water and liquid damage in excess of the device's stated IP rating.
- Damage caused by unauthorised repair, rooting / bootloader unlocking, or third-party modifications.
- Cosmetic wear over time.
- Lost or stolen devices.
4. 7-day DOA replacement
Dead-on-arrival policy: if your device shows a manufacturing fault within 7 days of receipt, we replace it with a brand-new unit at our cost, including return shipping. No questions, no inspection delays — your priority for the first week of ownership.
5. How to make a warranty claim
- Message us on WhatsApp at +971 58 673 7050 with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Send photos or a short video showing the issue. For software issues, the steps to reproduce.
- We respond within a few hours with options: nearest manufacturer-authorised service centre, RMA back to us for replacement, or remote-fix if it's a software matter.
- If we authorise a return: we send return-shipping instructions. Pack carefully — original box where possible — and ship via tracked courier.
- Once received and verified, we either repair (manufacturer service) or replace (within 7-day DOA, or replacement stock available).
6. Service centres and the international warranty
Honor, Oppo, Vivo, and Huawei all operate authorised service centres in most major markets. The manufacturer's international warranty means you can typically present your device at any of their authorised centres worldwide, regardless of where it was purchased. We help you identify the nearest centre and confirm warranty eligibility before you walk in.
7. Shipping costs for warranty claims
- Within the 7-day DOA window: we cover return shipping both ways.
- Outside the DOA window: you cover return shipping to us; we cover replacement / repaired-unit shipping back to you.
- For warranty claims taken to a local authorised service centre: their standard process applies, no shipping needed.
8. Out-of-warranty repairs
If your device falls outside warranty (after 12 months, or due to unsupported damage), we can still help you arrange a repair through a manufacturer-authorised service centre. You pay the centre's stated repair cost directly; we coordinate the logistics.
9. Chinese-ROM warranty note
Chinese-ROM phones — clearly labelled (CN) in our catalogue — carry the same manufacturer warranty terms, but the international service network can be limited for some Huawei models. We always confirm warranty options for the specific model you're buying before dispatch. If you're unsure, message us first.
